Credit Suisse Shares Plummet 8% Despite $54 Billion Loan from Swiss Central Bank

Credit Suisse's stocks faced a significant drop on Friday, with an eight percent decline on the Swiss stock exchange, despite receiving a $54 billion loan from Switzerland's central bank to save the day.

The second-largest bank in Switzerland, Credit Suisse, saw its shares close at 1.86 Swiss francs each at the end of Friday's trading, having reached a low of 1.77 Swiss francs during the day. The bank has been struggling to restore the confidence of investors, even with the central bank's financial aid.
